The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of France for funding, study and implementation of Integrated Intelligent Transport System (ITS) project on a pilot basis. Under the ITS project, fleet tracking, real-time monitoring, passenger information system, solar electronic display for the passengers and statistical platform for optimising the operations are taken up, an official release said on Monday.

tour to France and Germany last week, TSRTC chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana, along with RTC managing director G V Ramana Rao and others, studied the transport systems and procedures prevailing in those countries so as to adopt some of them in TSRTC for improving the efficiency.
