TSRTC strike continues for 18th day

The RTC strike continues on the 18th day. RTC workers are appealing for temporary drivers and conductors at all depots across the state not to attend duties. Following the Telangana bandh, the RTC JAC has been protesting near the depots.

The RTC JAC planned to stage a program Vanta Vaarpu at 10.30 at the Secunderabad Jubilee Bus Station. RTC workers have been protesting since morning in front of the Ibrahimpatnam depot in Rangareddy district. Temporary drivers and conductors tried to start the buses but the RTC workers prevented the buses from getting out. The police, who arrived in the morning, blocked the protesting workers. On the other hand, RTC workers staged protests at two depots in the Nizamabad district



centre.

RTC regular workers appealed for temporary staff with flowers not to do duties. In addition, the employees fell on the legs of temporary employees and urged them to cooperate with their strike. The Karimnagar bus there is a tensed atmosphere where an unidentified person destroyed the mirrors of a private hire bus parked in the bus stand. The police had already reached the spot and inquired about the incident. Attempts were made to disperse the crowds in the Bus stand premises. 

On the other hand, the RTC workers held a dharna before the Karimnagar depot at 5 am. Buses were blocked from getting out. This has resulted in a large number of police security.
