TSRTC staff should now be addressed as employees

In a significant move restoring the honour of the working force of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) in consonance with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s assurance on 1 December at the Pragathi Bhavan, the corporation has decided to change the way they were addressed. TSRTC Chief Personal manager in a letter to all the unit officers of the corporation said that all employees of the TSRTC including operational and maintenance staff shall be addressed or referred top as



“Employees” instead of workers while addressing them on various platforms.

Similar system must be followed while displaying any official communication on depot or unit notice boards. “However on account of that there will not be any change as to their classification under their respective acts and they will continue to be governed by such Acts” the order says. All the unit officers were strictly told to follow the guidelines without fail.
