TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be the star campaigner of the party, along with 19 senior leaders, including 10 Cabinet Ministers, for the April 11 Lok Sabha elections.

Though the list was submitted on Saturday, the TRS revised the list on Monday and included former Minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao in the list. Necessary formalities were completed, and a request was made to the ECI to issue fresh passes to Harish’s vehicle.
Besides the Chief Minister, the list of star campaigners includes TRS working president KT Rama Rao, Ministers Mohd Mahmood Ali, A Indrakaran Reddy, Etela Rajender, Koppula Eshwar, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, G Jagadish Reddy, Ch Malla Reddy, V Srinivas Goud, S Niranjan Reddy, V Prashanth Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, TRS secretary general K Keshava Rao, former Minister and MLA T Harish Rao, general secretary and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, general secretary and MP Banda Prakash, and general secretaries T Ravinder Rao and R Shravan Kumar Reddy, and MLC Seri Subash Reddy.

Star campaigners will be eligible to campaign for the party candidates in all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies. Their poll expenditure will be considered under the party expenditure to be submitted to the ECI. While political parties recognised as national parties can have up to 40 star campaigners, regional parties are eligible to have up to 20 star campaigners.

The TRS requested the ECI to issue necessary vehicle passes enabling the party to launch a full-pitched poll campaigning.
