Telangana is set to witness some scorching political heat with Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K Chandrashekhar Rao set to hit what is likely to be a high-voltage Lok Sabha election campaign trail on Friday.

Chandrashekhar Rao will address public meetings at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency. He will also address voters from Malkajgiri, Secunderabad and Chevella constituencies at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. While the Miryalaguda meeting is scheduled for 4 pm, the meeting at LB Stadium is at 5.30 pm.

Leaving nothing to chance for ensuring comfort and safety of citizens coming to hear him at LB Stadium, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and a few other TRS leaders inspected the preparations for the meeting. Yadav said the arrangements were made in such a way that no one coming for it will face any

inconvenience.

“There are clear plans to ensure parking, drinking water and butter milk to beat the scorching heat. In case the Stadium gets full and people can’t be accommodated, we will set up LED screens on which they can watch the Chief Minister’s address,” Yadav said. “The Chief Minister has been working hard for us, the people of the city and Telangana. And we should make the meeting a success by attending it and expressing our solidarity and support to him and TRS,” Yadav said.

Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to stress the importance of TRS’ victory in the Lok Sabha elections. In this second phase of his campaign, in addition to explaining how the party is set to play a vital role in national politics, he is also expected to take sharp aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
