Trial run of Bibi-Ka-Alam procession held in Old City

A trial run of the Bibi-Ka-Alam procession was taken out in the Old City on Saturday by the organisers of the procession.

The elephant Sreedevi was arranged from Kerala and arrived in the city three days ago.

The organisers of the procession, along with the Hyderabad City police, as a practice, conducted a trial run on the procession route to familiarise the



jumbo with the atmosphere that prevails during the procession.

The elephant passed through Yakutpura Bada Bazaar Road, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Panjesha, Mandi Miralam and Darulshifa.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, VC Sajjanar, and Joint Commissioner of Police, Tafseer Iqubal, and other officers were present at the Bibi ka Alawa.
