The Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the nomination process for the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency bye-election to be held from 10 am to 4pm on October 17.

Several political parties are expected to take out rallies and processions in and around Yousufguda, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, and Krishna Nagar, likely causing moderate traffic congestion in these areas.

Accordingly, Vehicles from Maitrivanam Junction towards Yousufguda Basti, Rahmathnagar, Karmikanagar, and Borabanda will be diverted via Krishnakanth Park – GTS Temple – Kalyan Nagar – Mothi Nagar – Borabanda Bus Stop.

Similarly, traffic towards Jubilee Hills Checkpost via Yousufguda Checkpost will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards RBI Quarters – Krishna Nagar Junction – Jubilee Hills Checkpost.

Likewise, vehicles from



Jubilee Hills Checkpost and Venkatagiri heading to the stadium will be diverted at Krishna Nagar Junction towards Srinagar Colony – Punjagutta.

Traffic from Borabanda Bus Stop to Yousufguda will be diverted at Prime Garden Function Hall, Sri Ram Nagar X Roads towards Midland Bakery – GTS Colony – Kalyan Nagar Junction – Vengalrao Nagar – Umesh Chandra Statue – Maitrivanam Junction.

Further, vehicles from Punjagutta to Krishna Nagar via Srinagar Colony will be diverted at Srinagar Colony Park towards MJ College Road – SNT Junction – NFCL.

Public parking for the event will be available at Metro Parking (Janakamma Thota 1 & 2, Yousufguda) and at Savera Function Hall and Mahamood Function Hall for four-wheelers.

Hyderabad Traffic Police has urged commuters to avoid the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium area and to use alternate routes.
