Traffic diversions for Bonalu at Lal Darwaza, Amberpet, Chilkalguda

 In view of the Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Bonalu festivities at Lal Darwaza on July 20 and 21, several traffic restrictions will be in place across the city.

Vehicles from Engine Bowli and Falaknuma will be diverted towards Goshala, Tadban, or Misrigunj via Khilwath.

Traffic from MBNR Crossroads will be redirected towards Jahanuma, Goshala, Tadban, or Misrigunj via Khilwath.

Vehicles from Nagulachinta and Sudha Talkies will move via Gowlipura, while those from Gowlipura to Lal Darwaza will be diverted via Hari Bowli to Mirchowk.

Vehicles from Pancha Mohalla will be routed via Hari Bowli, Voulga Hotel, and Misrigunj.

Traffic from Kandikal Gate will be diverted towards Gowlipura, and from Balagunj towards Nehru Statue, Nagulachinta junction.

Vehicles from Uppuguda and Chatrinaka will be diverted towards Moghalpura PS.

Kandikal Gate flyover traffic will be redirected towards VN Reddy Kaman and Uppuguda.

Heavy vehicles from Old Chandrayangutta to Chatrinaka will be diverted to Santoshnagar and Chandrayangutta.

Traffic from Fateh Darwaza will be routed via Khilwath Road.

Vehicles from Gowlipura will go via Volta Hotel, Moghalpura, and Etebar Chowk to Mirchowk.

Chatrinaka traffic will be redirected via Sri Ram Nagar Colony, CIB Quarters, Sultan Shahi, Lalitha Bagh, and Moghalpura.

Vehicles from Meer-ka-Daira and Moghalpura will be diverted towards Moghalpura Water Tank.

Those heading to Charminar via Moghalpura will be diverted to Bibi Bazar, and from Bhavani Nagar to Alijah Kotla.

Traffic from Moghalpura areas via Sardar Mahal Road will be routed via Hafiz Danka Mosque and Alijah Kotla.

Yakutpura traffic will go via Mir Alam Mandi and Alijah Kotla.

Traffic from Purani Haveli to Tipu Khana Masjid will go via APAT Junction or Dar-ul-Shifa.

Traffic from Chaderghat, Noorkhan Bazar, S J Rotary, Shivaji Bridge will go via Purani



Haveli.

Khilwath Road or Moosabowli Road traffic will be routed via Khilwat Playground or Moosa Bowli.

Vehicles from Ghansi Bazaar and Chelapura will be routed towards Chelapura.

Traffic from Puranapul will be diverted via Bhoolaxmi Temple, Begum Bazar, and Chatri.

Gowliguda and Siddiamber Bazar traffic will be diverted towards Muslimjung Bridge via OGH.

The main road between Madina Crossroads and Engine Bowli via 

Gulzar House, Charminar, Charminar Bus Terminal, Himmatpura, Nagulchinta, and Aliabad will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

Buses will not be allowed towards Charminar, Falaknuma, and Nayapul, and will be stopped at Old CBS, Afzalgunj, Darulshifa, Chatrinaka, and Engine Bowli.

Amberpet Bonalu Traffic Diversions (July 20–22):

Vehicles (including buses and heavy vehicles) from Uppal towards Chaderghat and MGBS will use the Amberpet flyover.

Vehicles from Chaderghat and MGBS will also pass over the Amberpet flyover.

Devotees can access the temple under the flyover via Gandhi Statue – Amberpet GHMC Ground, with parking inside the ground.

Traffic towards No.6 Junction and Moosarambagh will be diverted via Amberpet ‘T’ Junction and Ali Café ‘X’ Road.

Vehicles heading to Uppal will be diverted at Ali Café via HMWSSB – Nagole Road.

Chilkalguda Bonalu Diversions (July 20–21):

Vehicles from Seethaphalmandi to Chilkalguda X roads will be diverted via Namalagundu – Warasiguda and Seethaphalmandi ‘T’ Junction, OU City Road – Tarnaka.

Vehicles from Allugadabavi, Secunderabad, and Chilkalguda to Seethaphalmandi will be diverted via Padmarao Nagar ‘T’ Junction.
