In view of the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu celebrations in Secunderabad, certain traffic restrictions will be imposed in the surroundings between July 13 and 15.
Passengers travelling by trains from Secunderabad railway station are requested to start early to reach the railway station in time and enter from Platform No. 10 side.
The traffic congestion points include Karbala Maidan – Ranigunj – Ramgopalpet Old PS – Paradise – CTO – Plaza – SBI ‘X’ Road – YMCA ‘X’ roads – St. John’s Rotary – Sangeeth ‘X’ road – Patny ‘X’ road – Park lane – Bata – Ghasmandi ‘X’ Roads – Bible House – Minister’s Road – Rasoolpura.
The roads that will be closed from 12 am on July 13 to 3 am on July 15 include Mahankali Temple from Tobacco Bazar and Hill Street, Subhash Road i.e. starting from Bata X roads to Rocha Bazar, Mahankali Temple from Audaiah X Road and Mahankali Temple from General Bazar.
The police announced that vehicles coming from Karbala Maidan to Secunderabad railway station will be diverted towards Minister Road–Rasoolpura X roads
– P&T flyover- HPS – CTO–SBI X roads – YMCA X roads – St.John’s Rotary – Sangeeth junction– Gopalpuram Lane –railway station.
Traffic from Bible House towards Secunderabad railway station will be diverted towards Sajjanlal Street – Secunderabad railway station or Hill Street, Ranigunj. Traffic from SBI X Roads, Paradise towards Tank Bund will be diverted towards Paradise, Minister Road or Clock Tower, Sangeeth X Road – Secunderabad Railway station, Chilkalguda, Musheerabad X Road – Kavadiguda – Marriot Hotel – Tank Bund.
Similarly, traffic from Paradise towards Bible House will be diverted at Patny X Roads towards SBI or Clock Tower and traffic from Clock Tower towards R.P Road will be diverted towards SBI X roads or Paradise, Minister Road, Rasoolpura, Ranigunj, Tank Bund.
The police have advised the commuters not to use roads from Secunderabad railway station to Patny – Paradise junction – Begumpet – Punjagutta as they will be congested.
