Tractor carrying 338 kg ganja worth Rs. 85 lakh seized in Warangal

In a joint operation Telangana Anti Narcotics Control Bureau Warangal unit team and Hasanparthy police on Friday arrested a person and seized 338 kg of ganja worth around Rs. 85 lakh hidden inside a tractor-trolley.

Addressing a press conference here, Warangal Commissioner of Police Amber Kishor Jha



informed that the police team on a specific information that ganja packets were being transported in a tractor from Dharakonda area of Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh to Bikanur mandal of the Kamareddy district via Bhadrachalam, Mulugu, Hanumakonda and Siddipet, set up a check post at Anantarasagar Cross Road in Hasanparthy mandal.
