TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy on Monday launched a scathing attack on MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, questioning why land deeds were not issued to the poor in Nampally despite being a "friendly party" and "holding the steering wheel of CM KCR".

"For 20 years, people here have listened to Asaduddin Owaisi and elected the MIM candidate as their MLA. This MIM leader, who is supporting the TRS, claims that the KCR’s car steering is in his hands. If KCR’s car steering is in the hands of MIM, why have MIM MLAs failed to give pattas to the poor living in Shivajinagar, Vivekanandanagar and Sri Ramnagar?" he said.

Speaking at a roadshow in Nampally, the TPCC chief appealed to the electorate not to split votes among different parties. "A vote cast in favour of BJP is like draining it into the Musi. If votes are scattered among political parties, then MIM will win," he said.

Congress candidate Feroz Khan, addressing the gathering, said that Revanth Reddy would become the next Chief Minister of Telangana and would reward him with a ministerial post.

Earlier in the day, Revanth Reddy addressed a roadshow in the Khairatabad constituency to seek votes for party candidate P. Vijaya Reddy.

"TRS questions what Congress has done for Hyderabad… the railway stations, Outer Ring Road, airport, flyovers

and even the Metro rail was built under the Congress regime," he said.

Praising P. Vijaya Reddy's father, the late P. Janardhan Reddy, a senior Congress leader popularly known as PJR, he took a jibe at the BRS candidate, Danam Nagender.

He said that Nagender used to sell bidis at Punjagutta and worked as a driver for Janardhan Reddy. He claimed that even the BJP candidate from the constituency, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, did not develop the constituency when he was earlier elected as its MLA.

At the Parkal Assembly segment in Warangal district, the TPCC chief said that Telangana saw development only under ‘Indiramma Rajyam’.

"If Sonia Gandhi gives a word, she will never go back. She promised the people of Telangana that the Congress will give a separate Telangana state and she kept her promise," the TPCC chief said.

He said that the Congress, during Indira Gandhi’s regime, distributed houses to poor families. Criticising the BRS leaders, he said: "The Chief Minister's family would be on streets if Congress leader Sonia Gandhi would not have given Telanagana state."

"Now, the Congress has given a promise of implementing six guarantees and will definitely implement them after coming to power," he said.
