TPCC accepts Danam’s resignation

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has accepted Danam Nagender’s resignation to the Greater Hyderabad Congress party president post on Monday.

13pt;">            The TPCC said it accepted Danam’s resignation on the advice of party high-command. It may be recalled that Danam Nagender tendered his resignation owning responsibility to the debacle of the party in the just-concluded GHMC elections. Danam sent his resignation letters to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi and TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy.

            On the other hand, Danam Nagender’s arch rival and Rangareddy district party president Kyama Mallesh too tendered his resignation to the party post. He too stated that he was tendering resignation owning the moral responsibility to the party’s defeat in GHMC elections.
