Total of 1,460 surveillance new cameras added to Malkajgiri zone

A total of 1,460 surveillance new cameras were added to the CCTV network at a cost of Rs 1.19 crore under the Malkajgiri zone.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu, inaugurated them



at a formal event on Friday. Of them, 410 cameras have been installed in 17 residential colonies, covering major roads and junctions, including a two-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), under a community initiative.
