Toshiba Allocates Rs 347 Crore for Manufacturing Expansion in Telangana

D Sridhar Babu laid, industries minister laid the foundation for an Extra High Voltage power transformer plant at the Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Private Limited premises in Sangareddy on Friday.

Transformer plant is being set up at a cost of Rs 177 crore as part of the company’s expansion



plans. 

Later, the Minister inaugurated the manufacturing facilities for the CRGO Core Processing Centre (Rs 65 crore) and Surge Arrester Unit (Rs 105 crore), established with a cumulative investment of Rs 347 crore.

Addressing the gathering, the Industries Minister stated that Telangana had rapidly progressed in the manufacturing sector.
