Top officials of the City Police on Friday inspected Lal Bahadur Stadium and Parade Grounds and reviewed the security arrangements for two public meetings scheduled at the venue.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, along with Additional CP (Crimes) Shikha Goel and Additional CP (L&O) DS Chauhan, visited the venues. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend a public meeting at LB Stadium on December 3 in the run-up to the elections.

The Commissioner reviewed the security arrangements at the stadium and asked the officials concerned to take all necessary

measures.

As a practice, policemen will sanitise the area and take over the venue at least 36 hours prior to the public meeting. Snipers will be positioned atop highrise buildings around the stadium. Traffic diversions will be imposed on the day.

Another meeting will be held at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Sunday where Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be addressing a mammoth gathering. The traffic police will be imposing restrictions in the area where people from across the State are expected to turn up in large numbers.
