A tiger killed two cows in separate incidents in Mancherial district on Friday, triggering panic among farmers in Kasipet mandal.

In the first incident, a tiger killed a cow that had strayed into a cotton field on the outskirts of Buggagudem.

Locals said the attack created panic among farmers who were

harvesting the crop, causing many to postpone work out of fear of being attacked.

In the second incident, a tiger mauled a cow to death while it was grazing in the forests of Eggandi village in the same mandal.

Forest officials inspected both sites and confirmed that the cattle had been killed by a tiger.
