Tiffin centres and road side eateries resumed operations across the city on Monday morning after remaining closed for over two months.

Usually, tiffin centres in the city witness a mad rush for breakfast every day irrespective of weekdays, festivals or weekends. However, only limited customers were seen in the eateries on Monday.

To

ensure physical distance, majority of the tiffin centres are allowing only two persons to sit and eat food. Apart from serving food, tiffin centres are providing parcels to reduce rush at the centres.

Owners of tiffin centres said the rush was very less and might pick up in the coming days.
