With several passengers finding it difficult to get cabs from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad, officials have launched three more cab services apart from arranging for more Pushpak bus services.

According to a note from the airport management, passengers from the airport were facing challenges due to the limited availability of Ola and Uber cabs.

“While arranging an adequate number of cabs on their platform is the primary responsibility of cab service providers like Ola and Uber, we remain committed to passenger convenience and have taken up issues with both the service operators. In parallel, to

ensure availability of adequate cabs for passengers, three more cab service operators viz CHOIS, 4 Wheels and Quick Ride have been facilitated to operate from the airport. In the past few days, the number of frequencies of Pushpak bus services to the airport have also increased,” the note said.

Officials also said that due to the decrease in the number of international arriving passengers, due to Covid guidelines, especially late in the night, cab service providers were operating at reduced capacity.

“We assure you that we are working towards providing a completely safe environment for the travellers,” the note added.
