Three killed, one injured as their car rams into truck at Hayathnagar

Three youths died and another was injured in a head-on collision between a car and a truck at Kuntloor village in Hayathnagar on the city outskirts on Wednesday morning.

The victims were identified as P Chandrasena Reddy (24), Chunchu Trinadh Reddy (24) and Chunchu Varshith Reddy (23), all students of a private college. The injured person is A Pawan Kalyan Reddy (24). All residents of Kuntloor.

As per available information, the incident occurred at 6am, when the youths who were proceeding in a car from Pasumamula village towards Kuntloor and the truck was proceeding from Kuntloor towards Pasumamula.

On reaching near Narayana College (Basara Campus) in Kuntloor, the car driver missed to notice a curve and negotiate and collided



head-on with the truck which was coming in the opposite direction.

While three youths suffered grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot, another was shifted to a private hospital in Hayathnagar for treatment.

On being alerted by other motorists, the police reached the spot and pulled out the dead bodies from the car which was heavily damaged in the accident. They were shifted to the hospital for autopsy.

The Hayathnagar police said that a case has been registered in this regard and an investigation has been initiated.

Sadness gleaned in Kuntloor village as all the four persons who belonged to the village lost lives and got injured in the mishap.
