Three persons were killed after a speeding DCM vehicle rammed into a Tata Ace that had stopped near the Outer Ring Road in Shamirpet of Medchal-Malkajgiri district in the early hours of Saturday.

According to police, the Tata Ace developed a tyre puncture and was pulled over to the roadside. The occupants were reportedly replacing the damaged tyre when the DCM, allegedly travelling at high speed,



crashed into the vehicle from behind.

The impact left three persons dead at the scene. On receiving information, Shamirpet police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.

The victims were identified as natives of Nacharam. Police registered a case and launched an investigation.
