Three injured in electric shock during Bathukamma celebrations in Kukatpally

In a freak mishap, three persons suffered electric shock allegedly after coming into contact with electric wire during Bathukamma festivities in Kukatpally on Monday.

As per available information, the residents of Madhavaram Colony in Vivekananda Nagar had arranged a large Bathukamma. While it was being carried, it allegedly



came into contact with the overhead high-tension electric wires.

Three people suffered injuries after receiving an electric shock. Alert locals immediately rushed the injured to a nearby private hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Kukatpally police are investigating.
