Three held ifor duping public through MLM scam in Adilabad

Three persons, including one from Maharashtra, were arrested in Utnoor mandal on Monday for allegedly duping the public by promising quick profits through a multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme.

Utnoor DSP Kajal Singh said Monde Narayana and Choukati Sangram, both residents of Shyampur, and Rithesh Wathekar from Maharashtra were apprehended for cheating unsuspecting people through a



marketing network called Dream Dollar Life.

During interrogation, Narayana and Sangram reportedly confessed to committing the offence in a bid to make quick money. They admitted to luring people with promises of high returns if they joined the marketing scheme.

The accused said they collected Rs.500 from each person who enrolled in the scheme.
