The three-day Design Democracy festival, which brings together top creators and thinkers to explore the future of Indian design and craft, was inaugurated at Hitex Exhibition Centre, Madhapur, on Friday.

The design festival is showcasing over 120 leading brands and insights from more than 80 influential speakers. With an expected attendance of over 15,000, the event solidifies Hyderabad’s position as the creative capital of South

India, a press release on Friday said.

The exhibition floor has been structured into three immersive pavilions, including Atelier, Canvas, and Muse, each designed as a sensorial experience that dissolves the boundaries between craft, design, art, and culture. The festival’s intellectual core, DD Talks, commenced with two days of keynotes and panel discussions featuring Reza Kabul, Pavitra Rajaram, Sussanne Khan, and Akshat Bhatt.
