Residents of Nettampadu in Dharoor mandal are spending anxious moments after three crocodiles were noticed moving close to the residential areas.

On Monday, residents noticed a six-foot-long crocodile gulping down a fish on the village fringes. They immediately lodged a complaint with forest



department.

Locals said last year also they had noticed a crocodile in the waterbody on the village fringe areas. This apart, two more crocodiles were also noticed in the same area .

Residents are demanding the forest officials to workout a permanent solution and ensure crocodiles movement into their village was prevented.
