Three arrested for assaulting doctor at Mancherial Govt Hospital

Three persons were arrested on charges of assaulting a doctor of the Government General Hospital-Mancherial, here on Friday evening.

Police said that Gotte Pavan Tej, Gotte Sampath and Jadi Vignesh from Tilaknagar were arrested for their alleged role in thrashing Dr Jayaprakash, a duty doctor of the GGH, under the influence of liquor, when they



visited the hospital for some medical investigations on January 29. The three were sent to judicial remand.

A case was already registered against the three based on a complaint from Jayaprakash. Investigations were taken up. Police warned people of stringent action against those who indulge in assaults on doctors of both government and private sectors.
