The threat of having to deal with severe heat wave conditions this year, for the month of May has receded. The Hyderabad MET department’s forecast on Sunday evening has indicated that until May 12, almost the entire Telangana will receive thundershowers, lightning and gusty winds.

In fact, during the first half of May, maximum temperatures in most districts will hover between 36 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius. This is a far cry from the typical month of May every year, when summer peaks and the mercury consistently hovers between 42 degree Celsius and 45 degree

Celsius.
