The LB Nagar constituency in the eastern part of the city is all set to come under the vigil of the line departments including the police. In the meeting attended by DGP Mahender Reddy and Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat, Musi River front Development Corporation Ltd (MRDCL) Chairman and LB Nagar MLA D Sudheer Reddy announced that Rs 7 crore along with 500 CCTV cameras



will be handed over to the police.

“The work pertaining to installing the CCTV cameras will commence in two days. Plans are underway to install the cameras in all the wards of LB Nagar constituency and with the help of police, we will try to make the assembly segment a crime-free constituency,” said a press release issued by the office of the legislator.
