The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has decided to operate 7,000 special buses in view of Dasara festival As many as 3533 buses will be operated from Karimnagar zone while 431 from Adilabad, 719 from Nizamabad, 1,175 from Karimnagar, 530 from Warangal, 678 from Khammam and 2,155 from Hyderabad.
Around 645 buses will be operated from Mahabubnagar, while 255 from Medak, 815 from Nalgonda and 440 from Rangareddy in addition to 1312 special services from Greater
Hyderabad zone. The rush of passengers is likely to be high mainly on October 9, 10, 16 and 17.
The TGSRTC management has planned to ensure special buses available on the days of rush and it also made appropriate arrangements for the return journey on October 25 and 26.
The corporation is running special buses from crowded areas in Hyderabad such as MGBS, JBS, Uppal (Nalla Cheruvu), Aramgarh, LB Nagar Cross Roads, KPHB, Boynpally, Gachibowli and other areas.
