In a major push to strengthen public transport in rapidly expanding residential pockets, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has decided to introduce dedicated bus services to 373 newly developed colonies across the city.

Under the initiative titled ‘Hyderabad Connect’, officials aim to bridge the transport

gap in fast-growing suburban and peripheral areas.

Following field inspections, RTC teams identified colonies where public transport access is either minimal or non-existent.

Priority will be given to high-density clusters, with the first phase of services expected to start within the next two months.
