TGSRTC restores T-24 ticket tariffs from March 1 for Metro Deluxe buses

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) authorities have restored the T-24 ticket tariffs for all passenger categories, with the revised rates coming into effect from March 1.

The T-24 ticket, which is valid for Metro Deluxe bus services, underwent tariff changes last year. However, transport authorities later extended a temporary discount up to December 31, 2025, after observing a sharp decline in sales following the



revision.

Officials said the latest move to restore the tariffs comes in view of the levy of an infrastructure fee and after obtaining approval from the Competent Authority, with the concurrence of the Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO).

Transport Department sources said necessary software updates have been initiated to ensure smooth implementation of the revised fares across ticketing systems.
