TGSPDCL CMD Inspects Feeder, Code-Based Billing Process

TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Jitender V. Patil, conducted a detailed field inspection on Monday at Vengal Rao Nagar–Kalyan Nagar under Jubilee Hills constituency, focusing on feeder-wise electrical structures and Structure Code-based consumer service billing.

During the inspection, the CMD interacted with operation and maintenance (O&M) staff, artisans, and Private Meter Readers (PMRs) to understand field-level operations, billing procedures, and issues being faced by the staff in the



field.

He instructed officials to ensure that spot bills are generated strictly based on the correct structure codes, which would improve billing accuracy and enhance the efficiency and reliability of the power distribution system. 

The CMD also visited several Distribution Transformers (DTRs) and reviewed the process of Structure Code-based consumer service mapping, data entry procedures during billing, field-level challenges, and the measures being taken to address them.
