The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has decided to take up a series of measures to strengthen first- and last-mile connectivity in the capital region, as part of its efforts to improve the city’s public transport system.

According to TGSRTC officials, the corporation will enhance bus services to and from major MMTS stations based on passenger demand and footfall data to be provided by the local

railway authorities. Special focus will be placed on high-density residential and commercial areas to ensure seamless connectivity for daily commuters.

TGSRTC will work closely with the GHMC authorities to further map existing bus routes and stops near all 51 MMTS stations across Hyderabad. Based on the assessment, new routes will be introduced and service frequency increased as and when required as per public demand.
