From spelling errors in English names to names being only in Telugu, several voters filling their enumeration forms, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of electoral rolls in the State, are facing an uphill task in tracing and linking their details to the SIR 2002 record.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has hosted the SIR 2002 list on the State election department website
https://voters.eci.gov.in. The list can also be found on the ECI app ECINET using the “Search by Electoral Details” option.
The voters have been asked to trace their records from the previous SIR and link them to present one. Persons who were not voters back then but are voters now have to link their records with their parents/guardians from the 2002 list. This tracing has become a herculean task.
