Telangana to Witness Heavy Rain and Gusty Winds Over Next 5 Days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert for various districts of Telangana over the next five days, warning of heavy rainfall and gusty winds ranging from 30–40 km/h at isolated places. 

Day 1 (29 May 2025): Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and



Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

Day 2 (30 May 2025): Gusty winds (30–40 km/h) are expected to continue at isolated places across all Telangana districts. 

Day 3 to Day 5 (31 May – 2 June 2025): Gusty winds are forecast at isolated places across a wide range of districts, including Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, and many more.
