Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Monday said Telangana has set an ambitious goal of becoming a three trillion dollar economy by 2047.
Addressing the Republic Day celebrations at the Parade Grounds here, he said the Telangana Rising – Vision 2047 document, unveiled during the Global Summit last month, laid out a roadmap to achieve the long-term economic target.
Referring to key urban and environmental initiatives, the Governor
said the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited has prepared a Master Plan for a 55 km stretch of the Musi river from Osman Sagar to Gowrelli (ORR East) and from Himayath Sagar up to Gandhi Sarovar at Bapu Ghat.
“The Aggregate Master Plan, which is under development, includes Blue, Green, Land Use, Infrastructure and Financial Master Plans along with a revenue generation model, aimed at sustainable river restoration and urban renewal,” he said.
