In an unusual incident in Telangana, the owner of a rented building locked the classrooms of a government primary school in Siddipet district after rent remained unpaid for several months.

The government primary school has been operating from the rented premises in Jabbapur village of Wargal mandal. However, the dues were reportedly not cleared by the Congress-led government, leading the building owner to take

the drastic step of locking the classrooms.

As a result, the school failed to open, disrupting classes and leaving students stranded outside the premises.

Following the closure, students and their parents staged a protest by sitting on the road. They demanded immediate action from the authorities to resolve the issue and ensure that the school reopens without further delay.
