The state government, which is on an attacking mode at the opposition parties on issues concerning people, has decided to extend the ongoing winter session of the State Assembly till Jan 11.Business Advisory Committee of the Assembly, which met under the chairmanship of speaker S Madhusudana Chary on Friday, decided to hold the next round of session from Jan 3 to Jan 11.
It is learnt that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to make a detailed presentation on the progress of irrigation projects, implementation of welfare schemes and other achievements attained by his government in the past two-and-a-half years during the remaining session.
Meanwhile, state legislator Koppula Eshwar told mediapersons that session will be held on Jan 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11 to discuss the pending issues.
