The Telangana government has activated a Helpline and Coordination Centre at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to assist residents of the State who may be stranded or affected by the prevailing flood situation in Nepal. The centre will coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and other authorities to facilitate assistance.History

Family members unable to contact relatives, pilgrims or tourists from Telangana in Nepal can approach the helpline with details including the person’s name, passport and mobile numbers, present or last



known location, travel or tour operator details and family contact information. The State government said it was closely monitoring the situation and maintaining continuous liaison with the concerned authorities. Cases brought to the helpline would be taken up on priority.

The helpline contacts are: Telangana Bhavan PS to Resident Commissioner and Liaison Head Vandhana (9871999044), PRO Ch Chakravarthi (9949351270) and Liaison Officer G Rakshit Naik (9618597969). Further updates will be issued based on information received from the concerned authorities.
