Telangana Secretariat declared a no-fly zone for drones

Taking many by surprise, the State government is declaring the Secretariat a no-fly zone for drones. Orders have been issued to install signages around the Secretariat premises warning people not to fly drones.

Stern action would be initiated against those who violate the rules and fly drones around the Secretariat. These orders were issued after images of the Secretariat went viral



during Ganesh idol immersion ceremony recently. The State government’s decision evoked strong response from different sections, especially on social media.

“This is another ploy to clear the imprints of past government by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. The towering structure was the cynosure during the Ganesh idols immersion ceremony,” Patla Vamshi posted on X.
