Telangana PCB issues closure orders to six industries

Cracking the whip on the errant industries, the Telangana Pollution Control Board (PCB) has issued orders for closure of six industries.

The PCB reviewed 49 industries in its task force meeting in the month of November and passed orders for closure of six industries that were found violating the prescribed



norms.

Six industries, as per PCB, were Sri Vengamamba Mining Company in Nalgonda district, TEW Automation Private Limited in Sangareddy district, Sahasra Enviro (P) Ltd in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, Ashirwad Metal Industry in Siddipet district, Gajula Umakanth Fabric Dyeing Unit in Rajanna Sircilla and Swarna Plastic in Rangareddy district.
