BRS MLC K Kavitha strongly refuted reports in a vernacular newspaper speculating about her exit from the party, terming them baseless.

She expressed her displeasure over the publication of such speculative reports, that too without consulting her.

Taking to X, Kavitha criticised a vernacular newspaper for publishing conflicting stories within a span of three days — one claiming

that she would float a new party if not given prominence in BRS, and another alleging that she was exploring entry into the Congress through mediators.

“Should publishing this news about me without even consulting me be called journalism or sadism?” she asked, expressing deep displeasure over the fake news.

She also shared clippings of both reports to highlight the inconsistency.
