Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao to visit Israel

Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao will be accompanying the delegation visiting Israel on an official tour led by the Union Minister for Water Resources.The ten member delegation team will study the adoption of new technologies and practices of drip and minor irrigation in Israel.  The weeklong tour is scheduled from December 30, 2016 to January 5,



2017. 

Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra Irrigation Ministers Brijmohan Agarwal and Girish Dattatraya and Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of Water Resources Akil Kumar are other members of the delegation. 

During the visit, Harish would also study the water conservation methods adopted by Israel in irrigation and exchange views on the protection of water bodies.
