Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education secretary Ashok Kumar has said that the Board, for the first time, was using GPRS system to identify the MMS, SMSs from the mobiles to curb copying. It has taken all measures to conduct its examinations smoothly, he said.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Ashok revealed that 1257 centers were set up to conduct examination and 9,64,664 students were appearing for the examination. He urged the students to reach the examination centers 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination and made it clear that they will not  allow the students inside the



examination centers even if  they comes a minute late. The Board arranged flying squads and sitting squads for the conduct of examinations and already spoken to officials on arrangement of transport facility to the students, he informed.

            The Board was arranging water and furniture facilities to the students and also alerted district officials to keep the medical facility to the students this time, he said. Stating that the students have to download their hall tickets from www.tsbie.gov.in website, he said and warned the college managements for action in case they refused to issue the hall tickets to the students.
