A two-Judge panel of the Telangana High Court comprising Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice N Tukaramji on Wednesday directed the State Government not to shift the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) from Mallepally.

The panel was dealing with a letter converted to a PIL written by 133 students of the ITI College stating that the government was trying to allot the land of the ITI College to other organisation and

intends to shift the ITI College to a far off place, which would result in hardship and loss of education to those studying in the college and simultaneously working as a part time labour in the nearby industries.

The panel directed the State Government to file its counter within 8 weeks and also directed the State to no to create any hinderances in smooth running of the ITI College.
