The Telangana High Court dismissed a petition that the construction of toilets in a government school, on the ground that the proposed construction would affect his house. The court observed that when the house could have five bathrooms and toilets, why not the government school. Justice K. Lakshman of the Telangana High Court on Thursday dismissed a writ petition filed by B. Nutan Kumar Reddy, a resident of Undavelly in Itikyal mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal district, challenging the construction of a toilet complex at the Zilla Parishad High School

(ZPHS).

The petitioner's contention was that the construction site, being adjacent to residential houses and borewells, posed potential health and environmental concerns. He requested the court to direct the authorities to relocate the toilet complex to another suitable area within the school premises. The court dismissed the petition and did not find sufficient grounds to intervene in the administrative decision, effectively clearing the way for the completion of the project.
