The full-scale implementation of a slot booking system and AI-enabled chatbot services across all sub-registrar offices in Telangana will commence from Monday.
The move aims to streamline property registration services and improve public convenience.
According to Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, the slot booking system, already rolled out in 47 locations covering 144 offices in two phases, will now be extended to the remaining 97 offices.
Since its launch on April 10, over 45,000 documents have been registered, with over 90 per cent users expressing satisfaction.
“This system has saved time for buyers and sellers while reducing irregularities,” the Minister said after reviewing progress with the Stamps and Registration department
officials.
An AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot, ‘Medha’, (82476 23578) has also been launched to provide real-time assistance on procedures, charges, registration timelines and office locations. ‘Medha’ is aimed at enhancing transparency and make information more accessible.
To prevent fraud, the government has introduced a developer/builder registration module where registered plots will be highlighted in red, avoiding double registrations.
Additional staff and sub-registrars have been posted in nine high-load offices, including Pathancheru, Yadagirigutta and Gandipet.
Each office will offer 48 slots per day, with limited walk-in slots for emergencies.
The Aadhaar-based e-signature registration has begun on a pilot basis in Nizamabad and Khammam, with plans for expansion across the State.
