The State government has extended the deadline for submitting applications under the HILT policy to October 31 following a poor response from industries.
Under the HILT policy, the government had sought to facilitate the relocation of polluting industries from within the CURE area to locations beyond the ORR. However, not
many industrialists were keen on relocating and raised several issues with the government. The government has accordingly extended the deadline for submitting applications to October 31.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy shared the details while briefing the media on the Cabinet meeting held here on Friday.
