Government doctors from across Telangana on Monday sought Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s intervention for a permanent and sustainable solution to the long-standing salary and service-related issues faced by the doctors working in hospitals under Telangana Vaidya Vidhan Parishad (TVVP).
The members of Telangana Government Doctors Association (TGDA) also submitted a memorandum to Principal Secretary, Health, Dr Christina Z Chongthu,
urging the State government’s quick action on this matter.
The core issue of bringing TVVP under Directorate of Secondary Health Services (DSHS) has remained unresolved.
As a result, doctors continue to face uncertainty in salary disbursement, administrative ambiguity, cadre stagnation and lack of parity with their counterparts in other government health departments, the members of TGDA on Monday said.
