Government doctors in Telangana on Thursday strongly condemned the State government over its negligent attitude towards Telangana Vaidya Vidhan Parishad (TVVP), which manages nearly 180 area hospitals, district hospitals, community health centres and mother and children health centres, in Telangana.
The Telangana Government Doctors Association (TGGDA) criticised the State government over mishandling of TVVP and delays in release of salaries to
senior doctors at TVVP-run hospitals.
In a statement, TGGDA said the Congress government when it came to power was welcomed by government doctors with the hope that long-awaited reforms would finally materialize and that TVVP doctors would receive a permanent solution to their salary issues.
However, contrary to these expectations, the situation has worsened and become increasingly distressing,” the association said.
