Expressing satisfaction with the State government?s response to their demands, the Telangana Government Doctors Association (TGGDA) on Friday night called-off their protests. The outpatient services, which were suspended for a day, will resume normally from Saturday, the TGGDA said.

Government doctors said Health Minister, Damodar Raja Narasimha assured that appropriate measures would be taken towards a fair resolution of their



issues.

?Since the Health Minister has responded positively to our demands, we have expressed full confidence in both the State government and the Health Minister.

The TGGDA announced that it is withdrawing its proposed protest programmes. It has clarified that all medical services, including outpatient (OP), inpatient (IP), emergency services, and surgeries, will continue as usual without any disruption across all government hospitals statewide.
